The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Buitenhout FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mosk:s goal. Tudor Mihoc had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Ger Holke's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 12th minute Ger Holke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tudor Mihoc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mosk were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Buitenhout FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Steven Fransen took the corner. After taking down the ball on Mosk's corner Steven Fransen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tudor Mihoc quite easily take care of the ball. Ed Seinstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Mihoc having to interfere. If Ger Holke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ger Holke came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Mosk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ger Holke couldn't finish the play. When Mosk's Ger Holke in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buitenhout FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute, Antoon Baars got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tudor Mihoc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoon Baars, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Tudor Mihoc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antoon Baars went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Steven Fransen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sjaak Degens in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martin Soer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 47 minutes into the game, Hannibal Lecter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buitenhout FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mosk the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Buitenhout FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannibal Lecter to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Mosk were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antoon Baars made a kick off. Antoon Baars who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Tudor Mihoc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ivo Deijnen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Mosk getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Henk Appeldoorn hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Buitenhout FC's Sjaak Degens got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Mosk's Ivo Deijnen got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ger Holke struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Tudor Mihoc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mosk. Ed Seinstra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Tudor Mihoc made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivo Deijnen got free with Tudor Mihoc in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mosk made a substitution. Menno Adams replaced Henk Appeldoorn. Mosk made a substitution. Berry Korevaar replaced Steven Fransen. In the 80th minute Ruud Reinders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Soer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferry Hebels hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Mosk's goal looked a bit too open when Gerald den Hertogh came free, but Martin Soer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Buitenhout FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mosk were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
