An unexpectedly hard shot by Númi Fode in the 14th minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Galo do Japi getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cléberson Lara hit a great ball. With a little luck, Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais got control of the ball when Sokratis Krak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Floresta Negra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Zjawin to maneuver through the defense. Sokratis Krak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Egun Pais made a huge save. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sócrates Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Lokon Pøhl kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Bazkoare in the 32nd minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egun Pais came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Japi's Sócrates Silva. But to his dismay, Sócrates Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sokratis Krak scored 3-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egun Pais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Egun Pais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléberson Lara in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Galo do Japi getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Eriberto de Souza hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Galo do Japi had won after a very even match.
