But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hulk Speed couldn't finish the play. Roceira SC's Marcell Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Fontes in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Matadores FC's zone, Paolo Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qu Bing Cheng came out of the goal and Paolo Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paolo Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Hulk Speed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcell Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilton Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 32nd minute of play forced Matadores FC's goalkeeper Qu Bing Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qu Bing Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Damião in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute Ksawery Winnicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qu Bing Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Ksawery Winnicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Qu Bing Cheng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matadores FC's Qu Bing Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 43rd minute of play. There was no doubt that Roceira SC were the better team. Roceira SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
