Jardel Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Motta in the 18th minute of the match. Álvaro Godoi was slow to take the kick. During this time Catadão's players had a chance to rest. Belmiro Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zafran Chien-Kwan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tite Pombo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belmiro Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Belmiro Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chu Yun Lei in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Deivid de Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catadão fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Zafran Chien-Kwan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catadão's supporters rose to their feet, but Zafran Chien-Kwan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belmiro Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Renan Dudognon in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Luís Guilherme Salgado. In the 43rd minute Deivid de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Deivid de Salles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Belmiro Montenegro. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deivid de Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horacio Sayveon was the one to do the kick off. After 57 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Luizão do Nascimento. Catadão made a substitution. Nildo Hoffmann replaced Hernani Pires. In the 58th match minute, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Renan Dudognon with Deivid de Salles as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 64th minute, Vítor Vieira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jardel Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 78th match minute, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Salgado to maneuver through the defense. Belmiro Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Hoffmann in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Catadão got a corner. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Álvaro Godoi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's zone, Chu Yun Lei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belmiro Montenegro came out of the goal and Chu Yun Lei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Hoffmann came free, but Belmiro Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catadão were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Álvaro Godoi took the corner. The corner ended in Álvaro Godoi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Belmiro Montenegro did a great save. Catadão played a much better game than E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE and deserved their victory. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
