If Pastor Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, GAÚCHO FC's Raí Seco got control of the ball when Yuri Reis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, GAÚCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Reis came free, but Raí Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GAÚCHO FC's Raí Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtzi Zamorano in the 28th minute of play. Lando Guazo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Femke Bol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Yuri Reis put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Raí Seco. Raí Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Hartz in the 33rd minute of play. Figueira SC FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugeniusz Bielenda in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Eugênio Fontes got a free kick in the 36th minute. Raí Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Reis in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Hartz in the 40th minute of play forced GAÚCHO FC's goalkeeper Raí Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Kaur charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Kaur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of GAÚCHO FC booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Figueira SC FSCMZ's zone, Tiran Centers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Femke Bol came out of the goal and Tiran Centers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GAÚCHO FC made a substitution. Ronaldo Correia replaced Amancio Medero. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lando Guazo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Urtzi Zamorano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GAÚCHO FC's Raí Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Reis in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GAÚCHO FC's Tiran Centers got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the match, GAÚCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urtzi Zamorano came free, but Raí Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuri Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, GAÚCHO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Silva to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Figueira SC FSCMZ had won after a very even match.
