Fabrício Jardel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Edinho Paraíba made a huge save. Lupere FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Laerte Torres in the 7th minute. After taking down the ball on Lupere FC's corner Laerte Torres fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edinho Paraíba quite easily take care of the ball. In the 8th minute Reynaldo Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Vinícius Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes, Fabrício Jardel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lupere FC and the Maverick Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC's Fabrício Jardel got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Fabrício Jardel came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Lupere FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrício Jardel couldn't finish the play. Telmo Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Vinícius Haaland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Valadares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lupere FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Maverick Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laerte Torres took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Carlinhos Azevedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edinho Paraíba quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 27 minutes, Laerte Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lupere FC and the Maverick Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lupere FC:s Telmo Valadares showed great skill when he stopped Deivid Goiano:s penalty. Fabrício Jardel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edinho Paraíba came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabrício Jardel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 31st minute. Fritz Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Fritz Salgado hit a great ball. Edinho Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Jardel in the 41st minute of the match. Fabrício Jardel took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edinho Paraíba. Edinho Paraíba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 46th minute, Lupere FC's Fabrício Jardel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edinho Paraíba. Edinho Paraíba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinícius Haaland made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Vinícius Haaland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maverick Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinícius Haaland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrício Jardel in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edinho Paraíba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Vinícius Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edinho Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan das Neves in the 55th minute of play. Telmo Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Neves in the 56th minute of play. Lupere FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Laerte Torres in the 62nd minute. The corner ended in Laerte Torres almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrício Jardel in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edinho Paraíba saved Maverick Futebol Clube from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, Lupere FC's goalkeeper Telmo Valadares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinícius Haaland. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinícius Haaland in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Valadares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alan das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edinho Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maverick Futebol Clube's Vinícius Haaland got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lupere FC's goalkeeper Telmo Valadares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 81 minutes, Fabrício Jardel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lupere FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Jardel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edinho Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Jardel, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Vinícius Haaland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Telmo Valadares firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 91st minute, Tawfiq Ajram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laerte Torres in the 91st minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Edinho Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Valadares having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lupere FC had won after a very even match.
