In the 12th minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Gilmar Couto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Gustavo de Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Jataiense Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Pipo Inzaghi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo de Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gilmar Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauro Negri's late challenge caught a Jataiense Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lauro Negri helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes A.D.PADRE MIGUEL got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Negri. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Pipo Inzaghi scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo de Godoi, making the score, 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pipo Inzaghi in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo de Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustavo de Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pipo Inzaghi's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arthur Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Gustavo de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Couto in the 51st minute of play. After some careless play in the A.D.PADRE MIGUEL defense, Pipo Inzaghi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo de Godoi. The A.D.PADRE MIGUEL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo de Godoi should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute, Cristóvão Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jataiense Futebol Clube made a substitution. William Mineiro replaced Kara-Murat Goiano. In the 62nd minute of the game Hélio Zonta made a throw-in which Aloísio Castro played forward. Hélio Zonta made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Elder Varela immediately put the ball in play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Rui Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Castro in the 95th minute of play forced Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Sem Titulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jataiense Futebol Clube fully deserved thier win.
