If Daniel Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the match, Unikurdos United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Faron Castrejana came free, but Sesuldo Teijelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Ya Perdimos F.C.'s corner Reinaldo Gancedo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sesuldo Teijelo quite easily take care of the ball. After 33 played minutes Ya Perdimos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Garin Lerma. In the 35th minute, Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Álvaro Fonseca seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Álvaro Fonseca the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ya Perdimos F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Álvaro Fonseca had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Ya Perdimos F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Unikurdos United F.C.:s goal. Sesuldo Teijelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urritz Cugurulls in the 40th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Reinaldo Gancedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sesuldo Teijelo having to interfere. Sesuldo Teijelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinaldo Gancedo in the 92nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urritz Cugurulls got free with Sesuldo Teijelo in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, José Saramago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ya Perdimos F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
