Reinaldo Gancedo scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haitz Langarica, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Arnold Collins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Duarte. Ya Perdimos F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnold Collins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Ya Perdimos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Collins came free, but Paulo Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes, Rafe Vallina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Aragua FC and the Ya Perdimos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rafe Vallina hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Charro Dieguez made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faron Castrejana in the 51st minute of play forced Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Haitz Langarica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafe Vallina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Paulo Duarte made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faron Castrejana came free, but Haitz Langarica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atletico Aragua FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
