The Infami di Canaus fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Infami di Canaus's Luizão Castro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 13th minute Ezequiel Leizarraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Scarinci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Velester Football Club booed when Infami di Canaus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Brânza didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Concetto Mascitti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Velester Football Club's Ferdinando Scarinci got control of the ball when Luizão Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Concetto Mascitti in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexsandro Godoi saved Infami di Canaus from getting behind. Ferdinando Scarinci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luizão Castro in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, Velester Football Club's Ferdinando Scarinci got control of the ball when Luizão Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ferdinando Scarinci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Comunardo Cerri in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Infami di Canaus were the better team. Infami di Canaus's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
