With his leg Attilio Marzoli managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when SSC Special Eleven's Dennis Termander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Martyon Brading fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Ştiopul having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Sílvio Piola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Andreoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Verbano FC's goalkeeper Attilio Marzoli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Termander. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Dennis Termander managed to get in a good position for a shot. SSC Special Eleven's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Termander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attilio Marzoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Dennis Termander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Attilio Marzoli. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Dennis Termander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Attilio Marzoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attilio Marzoli made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Sílvio Piola sent off a good shot on target. Dennis Termander who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Attilio Marzoli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 30 minutes Verbano FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Concetto Barberio who took care of the corner kick. A hard shot 40 in the game by Dennis Termander from a close distance when the talented Attilio Marzoli managed to make a qualified save. Verbano FC's players were relieved. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Verbano FC's goalkeeper Attilio Marzoli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Dennis Termander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Attilio Marzoli, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Fulgenzi in the 46th minute of play forced SSC Special Eleven's goalkeeper Damian Ştiopul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

52 minutes into the match, SSC Special Eleven's Sílvio Piola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Attilio Marzoli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute SSC Special Eleven were awarded a corner. Concetto Barberio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Verbano FC's goalie and right to Ernesto Giordano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Verbano FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 59th minute, Dennis Termander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSC Special Eleven fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 62nd minute Dennis Termander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Marzoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes Verbano FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Concetto Barberio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on SSC Special Eleven's corner Concetto Barberio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Attilio Marzoli quite easily take care of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Damian Ştiopul successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Florian Cavallaro kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Verbano FC made a substitution. Alessio Palmisano replaced Ermanno Bencivenni. The supporters of SSC Special Eleven booed when Verbano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Cavallaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Attilio Marzoli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Termander's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Dennis Termander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verbano FC's Attilio Marzoli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Dennis Termander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attilio Marzoli was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 80th minute of the match SSC Special Eleven got a corner. Verbano FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Concetto Barberio ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 81st minute, Emilio Lauri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attilio Marzoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Termander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Verbano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio Chiarelli came free, but Attilio Marzoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes, Emilio Lauri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Verbano FC and the SSC Special Eleven players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emilio Lauri kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Dennis Termander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes SSC Special Eleven got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Andreoli. For all the effort they put into the match, the Verbano FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SSC Special Eleven.
