Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Motta Rello successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Glasgow Rangers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antonio Mastrocola in the 13th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of San Michele AFC's goalie and right to Armando Natalucci. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. San Michele AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 16th minute Ettore Placidi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Motta Rello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Natalucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Motta Rello made a huge save. In the 31stth minute of the game Armando Natalucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Michele AFC's Motta Rello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Glasgow Rangers FC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after San Michele AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antonio Mastrocola took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Antonio Mastrocola got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Motta Rello quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dave Clemente came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by San Michele AFC's Alvaro Giusto. But to his dismay, Alvaro Giusto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dave Clemente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Giusto in the 37th minute of play. Glasgow Rangers FC's Armando Natalucci got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half San Michele AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beila Mora was the one to do the kick off. Dave Clemente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Giusto in the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Giusto in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Clemente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dave Clemente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beila Mora's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Glasgow Rangers FC made a substitution. Ferdinando Giacomini replaced Camillo Zacchia. Carlo Corna hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Motta Rello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Attili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glasgow Rangers FC's Dave Clemente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Giusto in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Carlo Attili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Motta Rello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glasgow Rangers FC's Dave Clemente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Giusto in the 89th minute of play. Dave Clemente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Giusto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
