The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristoforo Tammaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Marley in the 3rd minute of the match. Comunardo Guerrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Panza in the 6th minute of play. Lunatics of Arianrhod were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Dexter Morgan VR46's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johan Ström took the corner. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Marley in the 11th minute of play. In the 24th minute Dexter Morgan VR46 were awarded a corner. Frankie McFrank went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalie and right to Linus Bergvall. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Lunatics of Arianrhod's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 28 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Cristoforo Tammaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Roberto. Dexter Morgan VR46's Comunardo Guerrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Panza in the 32nd minute of play. Makis Galopoulos hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Bob Marley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bob Marley in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristoforo Tammaro saved Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting behind. Cristoforo Tammaro stood somewhat misplaced when Bob Marley came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 42 minute. Cristoforo Tammaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Marley in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Dexter Morgan VR46's Anfilogino Palma was substituted for Linus Bergvall. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Hibai to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Fedele Panza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Comunardo Guerrini. That made the score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. Bob Marley might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristoforo Tammaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bob Marley ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Dexter Morgan VR46's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Panza came free, but Comunardo Guerrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Palma in the 72nd minute of play. Cristoforo Tammaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Marley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Lunatics of Arianrhod defense, Bob Marley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristoforo Tammaro. The Lunatics of Arianrhod fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristoforo Tammaro should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute Dario Roberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Chu Xiang Chang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Guerrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chu Xiang Chang got free with Comunardo Guerrini in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dexter Morgan VR46 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lunatics of Arianrhod had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
