Joel Hibai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pär Are having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Fedele Panza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pär Are. Montechiarugolo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fedele Panza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 15 minutes of play, Montechiarugolo AFC's Anfilogino Preda made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristoforo Tammaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Bevilacqua in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Fedele Panza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pär Are saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Preda came free, but Cristoforo Tammaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Tammaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Testi in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Joel Hibai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montechiarugolo AFC's Pär Are was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pär Are showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Ström in the 31st minute of the match. Pär Are took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro got control of the ball when Anfilogino Preda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Montechiarugolo AFC's Pär Are played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Hibai in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Montechiarugolo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Urbino to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Dário Pereira. Alex Mori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Cristoforo Tammaro made a huge save. In the 47th match minute, Montechiarugolo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Mori to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
51 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's goalkeeper Pär Are had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Hibai. After 52 minutes Montechiarugolo AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Johan Ström who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Lunatics of Arianrhod's Joel Hibai getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Joel Hibai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pär Are read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Ström came free, but Pär Are reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Macchia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montechiarugolo AFC's Alfredo Zuccarini was substituted for Jonas Cesaro. The Montechiarugolo AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lunatics of Arianrhod's performance. The match ended with a win for Lunatics of Arianrhod.
