The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davide Spadoni to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davide Spadoni couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Aleschi FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Valeriani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davide Spadoni. In the 88th minute Davide Spadoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Valeriani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Bar Marconi United got a freekick which was hit by Enrico Romanese. 92 minutes into the match, Bar Marconi United's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Candeias came free, but Adriano De Carolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bar Marconi United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
