Achille Albanesi made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Filippo Gigli sent off a good shot on target. Achille Albanesi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filippo Gigli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Bruno Mazzone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
