The Camporioccio VS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genco Ekinci should have stopped the shot. Franco Garro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Iezzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domenico Proia took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco Garro. Franco Garro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Flavio Iezzi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franco Garro. That made the score 2-1 in the 17 minute of play. In the 24th minute Domenico Proia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Garro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Mirel Lovera. Alvise Piola struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Franco Garro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camporioccio VS. Franco Garro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Hell, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Camporioccio VS were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Valdieri's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alvise Piola took the corner. 35 minutes into the game, Domenico Proia lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Franco Garro. Valdieri's attentive Mirel Lovera managed to snatch the ball when Karl-Johan Blomqvist made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amedeo Hell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fulvio Padula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Valdieri's Francesco Cieri got a free kick in the 60th minute. Franco Garro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Blom in the 66th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Franco Garro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Amedeo Hell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Garro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camporioccio VS made a substitution. Bruno Lucente replaced Flavio Iezzi. Camporioccio VS's Christian Capuozzi was substituted for Aaron Blom. 82 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Hell came free, but Franco Garro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdieri's Franco Garro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Liaci in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Paolo Garro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valdieri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Garro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdieri's Franco Garro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Capuozzi in the 94th minute of play. Camporioccio VS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
