Grégoire Montaigne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hassan Laisney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Team Reunion974 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vincent Belly to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vincent Belly got free with Batiste Carbon in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Batiste Carbon was a little too slow when Sébastien Raillard got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Triez's goalkeeper Batiste Carbon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Team Reunion974's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sébastien Raillard in the 70th minute. Team Reunion974's Sébastien Raillard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Batiste Carbon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Batiste Carbon made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Sébastien Raillard sent off a good shot on target. Batiste Carbon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Belly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Sébastien Marques hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sofyane Grenard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Batiste Carbon. That made the score 0-5 in the 92 minute of play. The Team Reunion974 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Team Reunion974 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
