An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Cañas in the 87th minute of play forced RKO AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Felo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind RKO AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Felo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Madison got free with Fernando Felo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of RKO AFC booed when Algarrobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Fehrmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Algarrobo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
