Sorin Enciulescu struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ionuț Aluneanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSD Concepción. The supporters of CSD Concepción booed when Cobresal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Quintero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionuț Aluneanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafín Jarpa in the 29th minute. Richard Murillo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Cobresal's Gregorio Quintero. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sorin Enciulescu to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Enciulescu in the 52nd minute of play forced Cobresal's goalkeeper Ionuț Aluneanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionuț Aluneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Enciulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ionuț Aluneanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Enciulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sorin Enciulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ionuț Aluneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Antonio Amenábar in the 83rd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Manuel Antonio Amenábar notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Cobresal's Ionuț Aluneanu. Ionuț Aluneanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Manuel Antonio Amenábar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ionuț Aluneanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After 89 played minutes Cobresal got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Vildosola. In the 92nd minute, Lauro Argandoña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ionuț Aluneanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Manuel Antonio Amenábar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CSD Concepción fully deserved thier win.
