Eustaquio Mitxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romano Bautista in the 8th minute of the match. Deportivo Lirayén's Salbatore Adelsdorfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Barrera in the 10th minute of play. Salbatore Adelsdorfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubarna Marcos, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Salbatore Adelsdorfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristopher Damian in the 13th minute of play. After 15 minutes Deportivo Lirayén's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel Olivar who took care of the corner kick. Eustaquio Mitxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shen Chen Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, Deportivo Lirayén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shen Chen Xi to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Deportivo Lirayén getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Hugo Orlando Quiroga hit a great ball. The supporters of ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ booed when Deportivo Lirayén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulryk Redisz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubarna Marcos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salbatore Adelsdorfer having to interfere. Salbatore Adelsdorfer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristopher Damian's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes Deportivo Lirayén's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel Olivar who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Ubarna Marcos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Cristopher Damian put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Salbatore Adelsdorfer. Cristopher Damian did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Salbatore Adelsdorfer 43 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Deportivo Lirayén's goal looked a bit too open when Cristopher Damian came free, but Salbatore Adelsdorfer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristopher Damian made a kick off. In the 51st minute Romano Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Mitxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, Deportivo Lirayén's Shen Chen Xi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Mitxel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Salbatore Adelsdorfer had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Rodrigo Barrera's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Romano Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Salas in the 96th minute of play forced Deportivo Lirayén's goalkeeper Salbatore Adelsdorfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Romano Bautista dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eustaquio Mitxel, 3-2. Deportivo Lirayén's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
