In the 11th match minute, Club Deportes La Serena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobías Rocuant to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes La Serena's Said Hamed got a free kick in the 13th minute. With 21 minutes on the clock, Bonifacio Cristofor commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The goalkeeper, José Alejandro Seisdedos, was totally fooled by Centinela Español FC's Cristiano Messi, who 23 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Club Deportes La Serena's Tobías Rocuant suffered a sore thigh after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Aitor Canto charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Giannis Papadas came out of the goal and Said Hamed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giannis Papadas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Ayorecha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Deportes La Serena's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mirco Milbradt in the 37th minute. After 40 minutes Centinela Español FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mirco Milbradt who took care of the corner kick. Mirco Milbradt made a great header on Club Deportes La Serena's corner, it was just that Centinela Español FC's Giannis Papadas managed to reach the ball for a save. After 45 played minutes Centinela Español FC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Jacinto Bezanilla. Giannis Papadas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Said Hamed in the 46th minute of the match. If Said Hamed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Messi to strike the kick off in the second half. Soso Cheishvilis short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Giannis Papadas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 57 minutes into the game, Said Hamed recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giannis Papadas. Said Hamed showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Said Hamed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Soso Cheishvili came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Club Deportes La Serena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Soso Cheishvili couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Messi in the 67th minute of play forced Club Deportes La Serena's goalkeeper José Alejandro Seisdedos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soso Cheishvili's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Giannis Papadas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Soso Cheishvili in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Giannis Papadas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. José Alejandro Seisdedos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Giannis Papadas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Garzo in the 96th minute. Club Deportes La Serena's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
