Ekain Menendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliverios Palma having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzhan Fişek in the 15th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliverios Palma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 16th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Grabiel Escorcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliverios Palma was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cristiano Aveiro made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Oğuzhan Fişek sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Oylimpiamos Ψ's Nicollao Narbona got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 29th play minutes Grabiel Escorcia shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Oliverios Palma and just under the crossbar into goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Oylimpiamos Ψ booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xu Sha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Nacional were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute Grabiel Escorcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliverios Palma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 51 minutes, Grabiel Escorcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grabiel Escorcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Oylimpiamos Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but Oliverios Palma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grabiel Escorcia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute, Xu Sha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Oylimpiamos Ψ booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Heraso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Nacional players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
