After a rather tough play, Greenboys FC's Václav Bednařík got a free kick in the 14th minute. The supporters of Greenboys FC booed when Szentgotthárd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoltán Nyilasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Václav Bednařík's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kornél Hajdú was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Greenboys FC's Danilo Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by József Sallói in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Greenboys FC's Ferenc Szusza got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Václav Bednařík received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kornél Hajdú tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Václav Bednařík stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Václav Bednařík struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Kornél Hajdú didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greenboys FC. Konstanty Dzierwa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Greenboys FC's Danilo Vaz got control of the ball when Konstanty Dzierwa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danilo Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Dzierwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Greenboys FC's goal looked a bit too open when Konstanty Dzierwa came free, but Danilo Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szentgotthárd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dávid Papp in the 78th minute. A nice corner shot did that Dávid Papp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Danilo Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 81stth minute of the game József Sallói who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Greenboys FC's Danilo Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Szentgotthárd's Kornél Hajdú played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Václav Bednařík in the 83rd minute of play. Danilo Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from József Sallói, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 87 minutes, Václav Bednařík made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Szentgotthárd's Kornél Hajdú tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rdth minute of the game József Sallói who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Greenboys FC's Danilo Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Greenboys FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
