Grzegorz Szamotulski came out and tried to block the shot, but Gong Yang slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 7th minute. Grzegorz Szamotulski was a little too slow when Gregório Pimentel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 3-0. Grzegorz Szamotulski came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kukova's Blas Soter. But to his dismay, Blas Soter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gong Yang in the 29th minute of play forced Krivé hnáty's goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Krivé hnáty defense, André Pirlo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grzegorz Szamotulski. The Krivé hnáty fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grzegorz Szamotulski should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute Manilan Monterrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Horvát saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 38 in the game by Richard Kňazovický from a close distance when the talented Grzegorz Szamotulski managed to make a qualified save. Krivé hnáty's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gürol Yengi in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marek Horvát saved FC Kukova from getting behind. Blas Soter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ádám Erdei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Horvát having to interfere. In the 48th minute Manilan Monterrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Horvát saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blas Soter to make the kick off. Kristián Hrabina kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gürol Yengi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kukova's Marek Horvát was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Krivé hnáty's Grzegorz Szamotulski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Yang in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Soter in the 80th minute of play forced Krivé hnáty's goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Kukova were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Krivé hnáty's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gregório Pimentel took the corner. After 82 played minutes FC Kukova got a freekick which was hit by Richard Kňazovický. A collision led to Krivé hnáty getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Manilan Monterrey hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gong Yang in the 85th minute of play forced Krivé hnáty's goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gürol Yengi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Gong Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Szamotulski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Krivé hnáty's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
