Bülent Kutunalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Arif Cumali in the 6th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's goalkeeper Bülent Kutunalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enis Behiç Paker. With a little luck, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Bülent Kutunalp got control of the ball when Hulki Zaid tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Newells Old Boys booed when Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolas König didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Blue in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yalçın Erensoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bülent Kutunalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulki Zaid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Newells Old Boys's Yalçın Erensoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.J Gaaei in the 39th minute of play. After 46 minutes Newells Old Boys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reşit Baliç who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Reşit Baliç to fire away a dangerous shot which Yalçın Erensoy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

In the 52nd minute, Adam Blue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yalçın Erensoy was a little too slow when Adam Blue got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 56th minute, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Adam Blue ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yalçın Erensoy. Yalçın Erensoy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 59thth minute of the game J.J Gaaei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newells Old Boys's Yalçın Erensoy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yalçın Erensoy made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Adam Blue sent off a good shot on target. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Arif Egemen Yörükoğlu was substituted for Dorukhan Toköz. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Newells Old Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reşit Baliç took the corner. Yalçın Erensoy made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Dennis Matteucci sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute Arif Egemen Yörükoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yalçın Erensoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Dennis Matteucci getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Yalçın Erensoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hasan Can Artan. J.J Gaaei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yalçın Erensoy having to interfere. Yalçın Erensoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of J.J Gaaei's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 82nd match minute, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reşit Baliç to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's goal looked a bit too open when Enis Behiç Paker came free, but Bülent Kutunalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Hasan Can Artan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yalçın Erensoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With an all-out effort, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Yalçın Erensoy threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from J.J Gaaei, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Hasan Can Artan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the match, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Hasan Can Artan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yalçın Erensoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yalçın Erensoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Can Artan in the 93rd minute of the match. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
