The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 minutes Saray Spor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abdulvahit Erencan who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Matteo Mata advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 10th minute. Matteo Mata scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Meriç Midilli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 15 played minutes Saray Spor got a freekick which was hit by Yiğit Can İsrafil. Saray Spor's Meriç Midilli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Mata in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Saray Spor's zone, Matteo Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meriç Midilli came out of the goal and Matteo Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Kaan Ciner hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Matteo Mata scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Meriç Midilli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saray Spor's Meriç Midilli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Mata in the 28th minute of play. Yiğit Can İsrafil made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Caroll Baskin. Matteo Mata might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Meriç Midilli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matteo Mata ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Saray Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Matteo Mata came free, but Meriç Midilli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Saray Spor defense, Matteo Mata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meriç Midilli. The Saray Spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meriç Midilli should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Matteo Mata notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Saray Spor's Meriç Midilli. Meriç Midilli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Meriç Midilli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matteo Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ahmet Sedat Acemoğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matteo Mata to make the kick off. Matteo Mata's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Meriç Midilli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Reinaldo Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► made a substitution. Kurtuluş Senih replaced Gürkan Gurko. A collision led to Saray Spor getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Reinaldo Schmidt hit a great ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saray Spor's goalkeeper Meriç Midilli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Meriç Midilli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özkan İğdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derman Soysaldı having to interfere. Matteo Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Meriç Midilli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Özkan İğdemir's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Meriç Midilli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Matteo Mata looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
