Anton Beck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mikail Yerhum went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mikail Yerhum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Beck having to interfere. Mikail Yerhum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anton Beck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Steinar Flo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Steinar Flo came free, but Sezai Yura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stuparu Chyba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sezai Yura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steinar Flo in the 29th minute of play. In the 29th minute Steinar Flo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezai Yura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steinar Flo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sezai Yura having to make a save. Sezai Yura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steinar Flo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Uolevi Hagman made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Lokomotiv Bornova's Ahmet Korcan Gökalp. After some careless play in the Lokomotiv Bornova defense, Steinar Flo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sezai Yura. The Lokomotiv Bornova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sezai Yura should have stopped the shot. Jan Drlík came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sezai Yura could save by the left post. Sezai Yura was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Steinar Flo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steinar Flo to strike the kick off in the second half. Cihangir Türkol hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Lokomotiv Bornova's Sezai Yura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steinar Flo in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Adana FC's Steinar Flo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sezai Yura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adana FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Lokomotiv Bornova's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Uolevi Hagman took the corner. In the 59th minute of the match Adana FC got a corner. Lokomotiv Bornova's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Uolevi Hagman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adana FC's Uolevi Hagman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sezai Yura in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mikail Yerhum took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Beck. Anton Beck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 74th minute, Ferhan Yılğıralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adana FC's Muzaffer Süphan was substituted for Uolevi Hagman. Mikail Yerhum took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Beck. Anton Beck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 84th minute Steinar Flo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezai Yura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Steinar Flo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sezai Yura. Lokomotiv Bornova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steinar Flo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. The supporters of Lokomotiv Bornova booed when Adana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Baresi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Korcan Gökalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Beck having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lokomotiv Bornova players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Adana FC.
