When Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Älta BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink couldn't finish the play. Omar Volio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fan Nan Hong's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, CS La Libertad's Emiliano Gamboa got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 8 minutes, Henning Gulliksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Älta BK and the CS La Libertad players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes Älta BK got a freekick which was hit by Henning Gulliksson. If Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Omar Volio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 16 minutes, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Älta BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CS La Libertad's Omar Volio. Omar Volio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink came free, but Omar Volio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Älta BK's Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Volio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to CS La Libertad getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lyubcho Mangalski hit a great ball. Omar Volio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute Fan Nan Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Volio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İbrahim Efe Ergener kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. John de Jong took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Volio. Omar Volio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The CS La Libertad players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Älta BK were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Carballo made a kick off. CS La Libertad's Jason Carrillo was substituted for Evaristo Ulate. After 59 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by İbrahim Efe Ergener. In the 61st minute, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Älta BK made a substitution. Marko Alströmmer replaced Fan Nan Hong. Marko Alströmmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Omar Volio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Älta BK booed when CS La Libertad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Gamboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. CS La Libertad made a substitution. Felipe Porras replaced Tuto Moya. Lucas Gamboa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Marko Alströmmer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CS La Libertad's Omar Volio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Älta BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by John de Jong in the 69th minute. Alfons Gregersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Volio having to make a save. In the 71st minute Alfons Gregersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Volio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Älta BK's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Porras came free, but David Trulsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Älta BK's Alfons Gregersson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Volio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Alfons Gregersson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Omar Volio. Alfons Gregersson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, CS La Libertad's Lyubcho Mangalski got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Alfons Gregerssons short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Omar Volio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 87 minutes into the game, Alfons Gregersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Omar Volio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of CS La Libertad booed when Älta BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Bållström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Älta BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
