Purple Shadows's Witomir Klawke got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bo Kruuse scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dobromir Keep, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tytus Fabiszak in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christer Fernström saved Kingpins from getting behind. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Purple Shadows's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jean-Baptiste Lacroix was slow to take the kick. During this time Kingpins's players had a chance to rest. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kingpins's goalkeeper Christer Fernström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kingpins's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Witomir Klawke was slow to take the kick. During this time Purple Shadows's players had a chance to rest. 28 minutes into the match, Purple Shadows's goalkeeper Dobromir Keep had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Oskar Olsman. Jakob Alberg charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jakob Alberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickard Lundgren got free with Dobromir Keep in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kingpins's Christer Fernström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Mendonça in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kingpins's Per-Oskar Olsman got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bo Kruuse was the one to do the kick off. Cléberson Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christer Fernström having to make a save. Dobromir Keep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Lundgren in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Baptiste Lacroix to maneuver through the defense. Kingpins's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Karol Czubski scored to the left of an out of position Christer Fernström, making the score, 2-3. With a little luck, Kingpins's Christer Fernström got control of the ball when Tytus Fabiszak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute Karol Czubski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Fernström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Emanuel Ogazón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jakob Alberg got free with Christer Fernström in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dobromir Keep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Kruuse in the 86th minute of the match. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kingpins! The referee gave Purple Shadows a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Witomir Klawke, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kingpins's Christer Fernström. 2-4. The supporters of Purple Shadows booed when Kingpins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Baptiste Lacroix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witomir Klawke struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Christer Fernström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purple Shadows. 96 minutes into the match, Kingpins's goalkeeper Christer Fernström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tytus Fabiszak. Purple Shadows's Dobromir Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Västerstrand in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Purple Shadows walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
