C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 9th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Alagoano came free, but Benedicto Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pablo Innocenzio fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's protests and gave Pablo Innocenzio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Benedicto Ireno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yin Wei Yi to strike the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Guga Tavares got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benedicto Ireno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Cecilio Eli hit a great ball. Aníbal Alagoano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Leopoldo Perez scored 1-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedicto Ireno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
