Angelo Ferraris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Mário Súľovský made a huge save. Angelo Vettori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Dolinka FK defense, Angelo Ferraris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mário Súľovský. The Dolinka FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mário Súľovský should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Di Che notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cesate's Manolis Peridis. Manolis Peridis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Vettori in the 20th minute of play forced Dolinka FK's goalkeeper Mário Súľovský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesate's Manolis Peridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Di Che in the 21st minute of play. Manolis Peridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Che in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Dolinka FK's Tibor Popluhár seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tibor Popluhár the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dolinka FK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tibor Popluhár had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Dolinka FK's Silvester Majerčák was substituted for Nasko Minovski. 29 minutes into the game, one of Dolinka FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mário Súľovský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Vettori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Utkan Özçin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Boulier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mario Boulier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manolis Peridis firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Cesate's Attilio Mazzone got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th match minute, Cesate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Mazzone to maneuver through the defense. Cesate's Manolis Peridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Utkan Özçin in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cesate's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marián Kovach was slow to take the kick. During this time Dolinka FK's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cesate's goalie and right to Viktor Petrus. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cesate's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 90 minutes into the match, Dolinka FK's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Vettori came free, but Mário Súľovský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Kay Stormlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Súľovský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
