The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvio Pfeifer got free with Kenneth Knudsen in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Kent Remme fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AEK FC's protests and gave Kent Remme a yellow card for diving instead. Kent Remme kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Kenneth Knudsen was a little too slow when Christophe Mehri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-0. AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save AEK FC from getting a goal against them. Silvio Pfeifer succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Christophe Mehri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Silvio Pfeifer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth Knudsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Nathaniel Ochsner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Kenneth Knudsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christophe Mehri was the one to do the kick off. Kenneth Knudsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Ochsner in the 69th minute of the match. Kenneth Knudsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christophe Mehri's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christophe Mehri came free, but Kenneth Knudsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erland Slyngstad in the 79th minute of play forced B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenneth Knudsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christophe Mehri in the 86th minute of play. B O B I S A's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nathaniel Ochsner in the 87th minute. Silvio Pfeifer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenneth Knudsen having to make a save. Steve Triganza's late challenge caught a B O B I S A's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steve Triganza helped the player get up and apologised. Silvio Pfeifer took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth Knudsen. Kenneth Knudsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. There was no doubt that B O B I S A were the better team. B O B I S A's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
