Igor Akinfeev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Igor Akinfeev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolli Bolla in the 50th minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Queirós dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Igor Akinfeev, 0-6. Igor Akinfeev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bolli Bolla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Bolli Bolla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Akinfeev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to Hummerfiskarna's Andrea De Toro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Igor Akinfeev made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Andrea De Toro sent off a good shot on target.
