An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Pando in the 15th minute of play forced Symba's goalkeeper Anis Achour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexis Viera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gus Wootton in the 27th minute of play. Alexis Viera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás San Juan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 33 minutes on the clock, Muhammad Bejaoui commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Symba getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Muhammad Bejaoui hit a great ball. Anis Achour acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marquez Llago. Tomás San Juan took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexis Viera. Alexis Viera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alexis Viera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khaled Chérif in the 39th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Tomás Lecanda could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Anis Achour however easily saved by the left post. After 47 minutes, Imed Akid mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Symba and the TITAN FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Symba getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Imed Akid hit a great ball. In the 49th match minute, Symba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imed Akid to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 49 minutes, Marquez Llago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TITAN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marquez Llago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
