Furia Calamar's Daniel Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Bannatyne in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joshua Bannatyne in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Hanot saved Furia Calamar from getting behind. Delmiro Janpier kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Luciano Lauaxeta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Daniel Hanot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Hanot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Lauaxeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Celedonio Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Lauaxeta in the 35th minute of play. If Isidoro Gitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Furia Calamar's Kaido Saia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Radul Ranev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Furia Calamar booed when Dynamo Blitz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Novăceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marinus Westerink got free with Daniel Hanot in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kaido Saia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Radul Ranev. Dynamo Blitz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Hanot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Bannatyne, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Luciano Lauaxeta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Hanot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dynamo Blitz made a substitution. Ivan Urbez replaced Joshua Bannatyne. Furia Calamar made a substitution. Rolando Delfino replaced Isidoro Gitano. The Furia Calamar fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Furia Calamar's Rolando Delfino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 74 minutes into the match, Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Daniel Hanot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Lauaxeta. After 78 played minutes Furia Calamar got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Hellqvist. 80 minutes into the match, Dynamo Blitz's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Sadurni came free, but Radul Ranev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marinus Westerink could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Daniel Hanot made a huge save. A collision led to Dynamo Blitz getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Elbert Smeekes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dynamo Blitz's zone, Malcolm Hellqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radul Ranev came out of the goal and Malcolm Hellqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Diego Sadurni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radul Ranev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radul Ranev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Delfino's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Daniel Hanot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Urbez in the 94th minute of the match. After 95 minutes, Didi Vargas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Furia Calamar and the Dynamo Blitz players grew even worse after the yellow card.
