A collision led to A.C ALDO BONZI getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Pascoal Saraiva hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Yepes in the 15th minute of play forced A.C ALDO BONZI's goalkeeper Staffan Nord to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Lonzo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C ALDO BONZI's goalkeeper Staffan Nord, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match A.C ALDO BONZI got a corner. AC LeX Luthor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristide Ciuvică got free with Staffan Nord in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Ur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Zaccardi in the 46th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Zaccardi came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55thth minute of the game Zeledon Savion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C ALDO BONZI's Staffan Nord was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 55 minutes, Zeledon Savion made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. A.C ALDO BONZI's Staffan Nord tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. AC LeX Luthor's Hermenegildo Ventura was substituted for Zeledon Savion. After 62 minutes A.C ALDO BONZI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. A.C ALDO BONZI's Staffan Nord played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.C ALDO BONZI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mario Yepes was slow to take the kick. During this time AC LeX Luthor's players had a chance to rest. Staffan Nord showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peep Pronk, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the A.C ALDO BONZI players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
