Thomás Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Lico, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Adolfo Adrio was a little too slow when Juvenal Urbano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 3-0. 35 minutes into the game, Pietro Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Adolfo Adrio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adolfo Adrio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pietro Santos in the 38th minute. Adolfo Adrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietro Santos in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pietro Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, 0 descensos's goal looked a bit too open when Pietro Santos came free, but Adolfo Adrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Pietro Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Adrio was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Tasso in the 72nd minute of play forced FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper Thomás Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FALCÕES VERDES's Emre Çeliksu got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FALCÕES VERDES's Betinho Lenzi was substituted for Pietro Santos. After 84 played minutes 0 descensos got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Gaztea. Sílvio Luís Gerber hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Bernabe Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FALCÕES VERDES's Thomás Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save FALCÕES VERDES from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FALCÕES VERDES's Juvenal Urbano got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Eusebio Cordeiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FALCÕES VERDES's Thomás Fernandes didn't even have to move. For all the effort they put into the match, the 0 descensos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FALCÕES VERDES.
