The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Farafulla FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Octavio Pabla was slow to take the kick. During this time Forros Fantásticos AC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Sidro in the 10th minute of play forced Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Demetrio Berardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Forros Fantásticos AC's Alejo Lehior got a free kick in the 12th minute. Demetrio Berardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Demetrio Berardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Sidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes, Ferruccio Della Torre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Farafulla FC and the Forros Fantásticos AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Farafulla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Della Torre to maneuver through the defense. Demetrio Berardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Sidro in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Santiago Sidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Berardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Farafulla FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Octavio Pabla was slow to take the kick. During this time Forros Fantásticos AC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Octavio Pabla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Farafulla FC's Demetrio Berardo did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Sidro in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demetrio Berardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Forros Fantásticos AC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Santiago Sidro hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bianco Africano to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Lehior got free with Demetrio Berardo in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Farafulla FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Alejo Lehior scored to the left of an out of position Demetrio Berardo, making the score, 0-1. 55 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Demetrio Berardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Sidro. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Santiago Sidro put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Demetrio Berardo. When Farafulla FC's Bianco Africano in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Forros Fantásticos AC's goalie prevented a goal. With 65 minutes on the clock, Fabrizio Lenci commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 65 played minutes Farafulla FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Lenci. Forros Fantásticos AC's Octavio Pabla shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Demetrio Berardo but with some difficulty. The crowd rose to their feet as Alejo Lehior kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Demetrio Berardo. That made the score 0-3 in the 68 minute of play. Octavio Marcones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Berardo having to interfere. Octavio Marcones struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Demetrio Berardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forros Fantásticos AC. Demetrio Berardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arrigo Caroli fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Farafulla FC's protests and gave Arrigo Caroli a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Forros Fantásticos AC booed when Farafulla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arrigo Caroli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Arrigo Caroli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demetrio Berardo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Santiago Sidro sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Santiago Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forros Fantásticos AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Sidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demetrio Berardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Farafulla FC's Demetrio Berardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Sidro in the 93rd minute of play. With his leg Demetrio Berardo managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Forros Fantásticos AC's Octavio Marcones fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Forros Fantásticos AC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
