The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Roberto Perfumo fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s protests and gave Roberto Perfumo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Roberto Perfumo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Eladio in the 6th minute of play forced Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalkeeper Baldomiro Cordarrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Cordarrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hao Quan Kuan in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Cartero de Agronomia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Perfumo to maneuver through the defense. Rene Odon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silverio Ofelio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomiro Cordarrel having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Ofelio came free, but Baldomiro Cordarrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalkeeper Baldomiro Cordarrel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nils-Emil Vennerkvist's late challenge caught a Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Emil Vennerkvist helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Kanalla F.C got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Vennerkvist. The Cartero de Agronomia F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kanalla F.C were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silverio Ofelio was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Hao Quan Kuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56thth minute of the game Andres Rub who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kanalla F.C's Alonso Suloaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's Silverio Ofelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomiro Cordarrel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The throw-in from Evaristo Weterio in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kanalla F.C's Incendio Aranda. Kanalla F.C's Alonso Suloaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Pero in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Silverio Ofelio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Baldomiro Cordarrel. Baldomiro Cordarrel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kanalla F.C made a substitution. Everardo Pacorro replaced Silverio Ofelio. In the 76th minute, Ulises Pero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cartero de Agronomia F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 83rd match minute, Kanalla F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Odon to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Cordarrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Pacorro in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Cipriano Harri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Marcelinho Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Cordarrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kanalla F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kanalla F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
