In the 7th minute Romarinho Riquelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Wenerdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Peru in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ezequiel Seber, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ezequiel Seber stood somewhat misplaced when Timoteo Peru came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. Soldados De Román's Ezequiel Seber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Peru in the 15th minute of play. Soldados De Román's Lisandro Costante was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mark Wenerdahl in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Camilo Uxio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ezequiel Seber firmly grabbed it by the left post. Berutti FC's Mark Wenerdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Costante in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Peru in the 26th minute of play forced Soldados De Román's goalkeeper Ezequiel Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soldados De Román's Ezequiel Seber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Peru in the 28th minute of play. Simon Atarratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute, Natalio Acosta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Wenerdahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Atarratze's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Uxio got free with Ezequiel Seber in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Soldados De Román getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Romarinho Riquelme hit a great ball. Simon Atarratze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mark Wenerdahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Simon Atarratze took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mark Wenerdahl. Mark Wenerdahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Atarratze made a kick off. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Berutti FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lisandro Costante was slow to take the kick. During this time Soldados De Román's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Berutti FC's goalie and right to Blas Cordearo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Berutti FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Berutti FC's Severo Benvido got a free kick in the 60th minute. Berutti FC's Mark Wenerdahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Berutti FC from getting a goal against them. Simon Atarratze struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Mark Wenerdahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soldados De Román. After 73 minutes, Simon Atarratze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soldados De Román and the Berutti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simon Atarratze hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The supporters of Soldados De Román booed when Berutti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Cheche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Atarratze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mark Wenerdahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match, Lisandro Costante got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mark Wenerdahl was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mark Wenerdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Atarratze in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
