When Kajetan Brzeszczak fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czarni Kozłowa Góra's protests and gave Kajetan Brzeszczak a yellow card for diving instead. Przemyslaw Bambas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Muusik, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 13th match minute, Czarni Kozłowa Góra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Pusiak to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Marian Beninda put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Przemyslaw Bambas. Marian Beninda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Przemyslaw Bambas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. If Marian Beninda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute, Marian Beninda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Degas made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Marian Beninda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS LEW Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Przemyslaw Bambas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Degas in the 58th minute of play. Marian Beninda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Przemyslaw Bambas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. KS LEW Chorzów's Edgar Degas got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marian Beninda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Czarni Kozłowa Góra's goalkeeper Przemyslaw Bambas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Beninda. Przemyslaw Bambas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marian Beninda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 69 minute of play. Dariusz Misiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Czarni Kozłowa Góra defense, Marian Beninda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Przemyslaw Bambas. The Czarni Kozłowa Góra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Przemyslaw Bambas should have stopped the shot. In the 96th match minute, KS LEW Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Muusik to maneuver through the defense. KS LEW Chorzów played a much better game than Czarni Kozłowa Góra and deserved their victory. The Czarni Kozłowa Góra players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
