Tirant lo Blanch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tirant lo Blanch's attentive Miguel Ángel Angulo managed to snatch the ball when Lalla Diaz made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Loureiro came free, but Jon Calatayud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Gumersindo Peña managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paco Camarasa in the 15 minute of the game. When Lalla Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lalla Diaz couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's Carlos Loureiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Calatayud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastian Lundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Ucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jon Calatayud made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Carlos Loureiro sent off a good shot on target. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Jon Calatayud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Fernando Giner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Paco Camarasa in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Gumersindo Peña.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Dorio to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Carlos Loureiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon Calatayud. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Loureiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 61st minute, Rey Northe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jon Calatayud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Loureiro's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Teodoro Dorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sebastian Lundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerard López fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Calatayud having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Ucero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tirant lo Blanch the free kick. After 84 played minutes ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Ucero. 85 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's Miguel Ángel Angulo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Calatayud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 89 played minutes ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Ucero. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
