Tiaguinho Cestarolli started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Hartmann Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Messias. Tião Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tião Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tião Guerra hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cestarolli FC booed when Hartmann Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesinha Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Cestarolli, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 9 minutes, André Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cestarolli FC and the Hartmann Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cestarolli FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. André Bastos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cestarolli FC's zone, Glauco do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Cardozo came out of the goal and Glauco do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Baltazar Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guilherme Brito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesinha Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Glauco do Nascimento hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Leonardo Cardozo was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Glauco do Nascimento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Glauco do Nascimento really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. André Bastos got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Leonardo Cardozo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tião Guerra. Baltazar Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Cardozo having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yan de Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th match minute, Hartmann Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Guerra to maneuver through the defense. After 57 minutes, Cássio Cestarolli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cestarolli FC and the Hartmann Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan de Souza in the 71st minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hartmann Futebol Clube's Yan de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 79 minutes, José Pedro Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cestarolli FC and the Hartmann Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maicon Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Rony Mattos came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cestarolli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rony Mattos couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute Yan de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Guilherme Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cestarolli FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hartmann Futebol Clube the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cestarolli FC's Guilherme Brito got a free kick in the 95th minute. Cestarolli FC's Leonardo Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan de Souza in the 96th minute of play. Hartmann Futebol Clube were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cestarolli FC for a fine match.
