The corner led Bitelon FC - SAF's Hélio Ceresso to fire away a dangerous shot which Hortêncio de Medeiros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hortêncio de Medeiros was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and 叶凌宁 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 叶凌宁 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Günalp Taştan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hortêncio de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 叶凌宁 in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bitelon FC - SAF's zone, Inácio Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giuseppe Seco's late challenge caught a Bitelon FC - SAF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giuseppe Seco helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Giuseppe Seco hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, 叶凌宁 notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Granadero10's Hortêncio de Medeiros. Hortêncio de Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kilian Mbappè made a kick off. Bitelon FC - SAF's Ernesto Rezende quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valdomiro Damião, made in the 51st minute of the game. 叶凌宁 took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hortêncio de Medeiros. In the 68th minute Kilian Mbappè shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If 叶凌宁 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Granadero10's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gugu Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélio Ceresso during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
