Without hesitation aimed to the right of Faustão de Carvalho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luiz Paulo Montenegro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Faustão de Carvalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Rubens Viana slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 37th minute.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® had won after a very even match.
