Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, Real Sociedad's Igor Dillies ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valérien Jouglet. Valérien Jouglet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 9thth minute of the game Igor Dillies who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stade Ygossais's Valérien Jouglet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Igor Dillies made a precise shot to the right of Valérien Jouglet. Stade Ygossais's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 16 played minutes Igor Dillies rounded Stade Ygossais's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Igor Dillies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valérien Jouglet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Dillies in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Igor Dillies who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stade Ygossais's Valérien Jouglet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cédric Louison during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cédric Louison hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Dillies in the 27th minute of play forced Stade Ygossais's goalkeeper Valérien Jouglet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Éluard Marcellin with Adam Belon as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 44th minute Igor Dillies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valérien Jouglet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martial Jay was the one to do the kick off. Amaury Thiébault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martial Jay in the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Stade Ygossais's zone, Igor Dillies stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valérien Jouglet came out of the goal and Igor Dillies tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Dillies took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valérien Jouglet. Valérien Jouglet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. If Adam Belon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Stade Ygossais's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Dillies came free, but Valérien Jouglet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Igor Dillies got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Éluard Marcellin during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Éluard Marcellin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Real Sociedad fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Real Sociedad's Igor Dillies looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Stade Ygossais's Éluard Marcellin got a free kick in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Dillies in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valérien Jouglet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86th play minutes Igor Dillies shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Valérien Jouglet and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 89th minute Igor Dillies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valérien Jouglet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valérien Jouglet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Dillies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Stade Ygossais defense, Igor Dillies kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valérien Jouglet. The Stade Ygossais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valérien Jouglet should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Real Sociedad players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
