When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Jaime Ellande put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cornelio Bermudo. 38 minutes into the game, Chucky Lozano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabricio Otsoko. Chucky Lozano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 44th minute Filiberto Bernebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Otsoko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Jakobe kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Petrigai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabricio Otsoko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Bermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Ellande in the 70th minute of the match. Cornelio Bermudo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Jaime Ellande. But to his dismay, Jaime Ellande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The supporters of Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ booed when Atletas Campesinos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Bautista didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leonel Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Bautista charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Bautista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Bautista to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Ellande's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Bermudo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Fabricio Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Petrigai in the 89th minute of play. Teofilo Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fabricio Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Mantzio during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Mantzio. Although Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ had been in control for most of the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C. still came away with the win.
