Guga Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qian Cheng Xing, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Habil Castolo might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guga Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Habil Castolo ran back to his position shaking his head. the xeneise dream team's attack was well implemented in the 18th minute, but when Habil Castolo was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Arda Ardashov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Guga Tavares made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qian Cheng Xing in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guga Tavares saved Mexilhão F. C. from getting behind. Qian Cheng Xing had several of the Mexilhão F. C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Guga Tavares as he didn't even see the shot coming. Qian Cheng Xing didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 26th minute. the xeneise dream team's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Guga Tavares made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Qian Cheng Xing sent off a good shot on target. Guga Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Roldanillo in the 32nd minute of the match. Pedrão Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Habil Castolo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Guga Tavares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sabin Pânzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Angelsø, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd match minute, the xeneise dream team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Farias to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Angelsø stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Habil Castolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Qian Cheng Xing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guga Tavares was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Guga Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qian Cheng Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guga Tavares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Habil Castolo went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Mexilhão F. C.'s Serafino Herena suffered a sore thigh after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Lucio Gabino fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored the xeneise dream team's protests and gave Lucio Gabino a yellow card for diving instead. Mexilhão F. C.'s Ronaldinho Romero was substituted for Serafino Herena. In the 60th minute, Lucio Gabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guga Tavares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Qian Cheng Xing's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. the xeneise dream team's Habil Castolo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. the xeneise dream team's Paolo Eutor was substituted for Qian Cheng Xing. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Eutor in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guga Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Habil Castolo managed to get in a good position for a shot. the xeneise dream team's supporters rose to their feet, but Habil Castolo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guga Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th match minute, Mexilhão F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Paolo Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Habil Castolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Tavares having to interfere. Guga Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Eutor in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Mexilhão F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anaia Barba to maneuver through the defense. Habil Castolo scored 6-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guga Tavares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guga Tavares came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by the xeneise dream team's Isaac Sundberg. But to his dismay, Isaac Sundberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The the xeneise dream team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexilhão F. C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
