Thanks to some nice moves Ke Yan could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Dražen Ladić however easily saved by the left post. Marcelo Cordero might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Gonza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Cordero ran back to his position shaking his head. Cecilio Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cordero in the 57th minute of play.
